Like any place in our world, the Shapely City of Geometry is more than just structures. Way more fascinating than Poughkeepsie or Pacoima, Geonopolis is peopled by animals of every kind. In this world it doesn’t matter if you’ve got hoofs or paws because we’re all the same under the skin. Or brightly colored fur ...
Set among the lush trees, soft fields and clear water are four neighborhoods:
- Cubeville
- Sphereville
- Coneville
- Cylinderville
Again like our world, each neighborhood has its own culture and identity – its own shape.
Cubeville is an angled place of sharp edges and straight lines. The Elephants within are all about rules and logic, never coloring outside the lines or thinking outside the box. This is the place where we explore the reason for rules – and the idea that sometimes they need to be broken.
Sphereville is a softer place, though you wouldn’t guess it from who lives there! The Porcupines are timid and self-contained, circling their metaphorical wagons to protect them from the outside world. JEB and his friends are among the few other creatures welcome there.
Coneville is a place of forward-thinking, upward-looking Penguins. Always busy, always trying to make everything bigger, better, faster! They always have solution for JEB and his friends, and are always working on a new idea.
Cylinderville is where JEB and his family live. Filled with schools, stores, offices, libraries, banks, parks -- it’s the neighborhood most recognizable to us – except that it’s populated by talking Giraffes ...
So:
Red, Yellow, Blue, Green,
Orange, Purple, Brown and Black.
Calling all my shapely friends,
Burst your colors from my back!
A little singing, a little rhyming, a world of shapes and colors, of ideas and of friends. Problems to solve, adventures to have. Learning and hugging.
Welcome to Geonopolis ...
